Eleanor Ness

Background

Eleanor grew up worshipping her grandfather, Eliot Ness the legendary leader of The Untouchables, a group of Law Enforcement Officers who became. Eliot became famous for his efforts to bring down Al Capone and enforce Prohibition in Chicago, Illinois.

Despite her father being adamantly against Eleanor dreamt of following in her Grandfathers footsteps, after an argument with her father, Eleanor would join the United States Marine Corps where she became an excellent Scout Sniper. However, she always wanted to be a Law Enforcement officer, which lead her to join the Marine Corps Military Police, where she would serve at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in San Diego, CA and Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Hawaii.

After several years she was spotted by Henrietta Lange, who convinced her to join NCIS. After become an NCIS agent she would serve in the Washington, DC branch but regularly go on special assignments for Henrietta including extended stays in Los Angeles and Hawaii.

After the death of her mother, Eleanor wanted to return home to Chicago, where she would join the Police Department and quickly work her way up through the ranks due to her work ethic and no nonsense attitude, not to mention her previous experience and became a Detective. Most notably she was assigned to Intelligence Unit in the 21st District.
